Delt has been one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience, providing a strong sense of community and lasting friendships. Serving as Community Service Chair gave me the opportunity to lead initiatives that positively impacted both the chapter and the greater Lafayette community, helping me grow as a leader. I am incredibly grateful for the memories, support, and camaraderie that defined my time in the fraternity. After graduation, I’ll be pursuing a career in wealth management and look forward to staying connected with my fellow Delts.

Joining DTD was one of the greatest choices I made in college. Despite joining my junior spring semester, Delt opened up the door to new faces, friendships and fun. I have met people in this fraternity who I want to keep in touch with for the rest of my life. Some of my fondest memories include brotherhood events such as paintball, and the barbeque right before finals week. I wish I had joined the fraternity sooner, but I will always remember and cherish the experiences created. While the future right now is unknown, I will hold close to my heart the people I have met and skills developed during my time in college as a brother of DTD.

I decided to join Delt during the fall of my sophomore year and it was one of the best decisions I have made at Lafayette. Not only did I meet some of my best friends here, but Delt also gave me the opportunity to grow through my participation in the executive board as secretary during the 2023 term. I will forever be grateful for the people I met through Delt and know that I will keep in contact with my brothers for years to come. After graduation, I plan to work in the mechanical engineering industry designing and testing hot water heating devices while studying for my Fundamentals of Engineering exam at the end of July.

After my semester abroad in my sophomore year, I was looking for a way to go outside my circle, and Delt felt like the perfect place for that. Despite a busy junior year, some of my favorite memories of college are from that period when I joined the chapter as a new member. In 2023-24, I was given the chance to serve as the DEI chair of the chapter. My two years in Delt have shaped me and encouraged me to make strong connections with different groups of people across campus, and I remained close with some brothers, right up until the very last day I left campus. After graduation, I will be returning home to Australia to work at Lockheed Martin as a software engineer.

I really didn’t think that Greek life was for me when I entered my sophomore year. As it turned out, Delt was special in a way that was welcoming and encouraged members to prioritize work and helped make me make meaningful connections. I had an amazing time with my brothers at Delt, and I plan on seeing them more in the future. Currently, I am working at Yale University with a research team to help develop a novel MRI device. This opportunity is amazing, but is limited currently to the summer. I plan on looking for more opportunities in all sorts of fields, whether it be more labs, in the finance sector, or possibly grad school.

My time in Delt has been a meaningful and memorable part of my college experience. Through the fraternity, I found a community of driven, supportive, and genuine individuals who’ve helped shape my personal and professional growth. I was fortunate to serve as Director of Housing for the chapter and as Vice President of Operations on the IFC board, where I gained valuable leadership experience and helped represent our values on a broader campus level. After graduation, I’ll be moving to Melbourne, Australia, to pursue a PhD focused on developing quantum-cognitive AI at the University of Melbourne. I’m grateful for the friendships and memories that came from my time in Delt.

From Cambodia, I was at a loss in my first year in Lafayette due to the new environment, but found comfort in my friends who happened to be in Delta Tau Delta. I enjoyed my time getting to know these kind-hearted and hardworking gentlemen. They were there for me at my lows and highs. After graduation, I am looking to step into the workforce.

I came to Lafayette as a transfer student and spent my Sophomore year feeling somewhat lost. I had decided that I didn’t want to rush a fraternity that year, as I was still getting to know the school and wasn’t sure if I would ever want to join one. But in my Junior year, I decided to attend the rush events after meeting friendly people in other Greek organizations. The brothers in Delt stood out as kind, hardworking men, and after joining, I am glad to say that my observations were correct. I have made great friends in Delt, and had a lot of fun with everyone. After graduation, I will be pursuing my Master's of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University.

Joining Delt gave me friends, memories, and opportunities I would never have gained in any other way. From the late winter nights in Reeder to the sunny afternoons in Florida on spring break, I will forever cherish the friendships and memories. Outside of Delt I participated in Army ROTC and studied chemical engineering. I look forward to the future, and my time as an officer in the US Army beginning at FT Leonard Wood in July.

Brothers for life! That’s the feeling I get from my chapter. Coming from Madagascar, I had no idea what a fraternity was, but when I came to my first Delt event, a strange thing happened: it felt like I had known my DTD brothers for years, despite all our differences. This is why I joined and this is why I stayed.

Joining Delt has been one of the most meaningful experiences throughout my time at Lafayette. Coming to Lafayette in the midst of Covid-19, I was extremely apprehensive regarding how my college career would start, especially spending my first year entirely online. However, after befriending some of the brothers, I immediately knew that DTD was the place for me to be, and it quelled any looming anxieties towards finding meaningful connections and having a healthy social life. I am so glad that I had my brothers alongside me, through thick and thin, and I couldn’t imagine a college experience without them.

Becoming a brother in the Nu Chapter of Delta Tau Delta was one of the best decisions I made at Lafayette. In the summer before sophomore year, my older sister who had graduated from Lafayette in 2020, asked me what my thoughts were regarding joining a fraternity. At the time, I hadn’t given it much thought. I looked into the fraternities at Lafayette, but the last thing I wanted was for a fraternity to consume other aspects of my life. Outside of my course work, I spent a great deal of time in music as a pianist at Lafayette, and I was involved significantly on the club volleyball team. It was important for me to find a community that would understand that, and not try and control the other things that were important to me in my life. My sister suggested that I look into DTD. During rush, I really felt like I fit in with everyone. This was only reinforced once I became a brother. During my time at Lafayette, I formed extremely strong connections with many of my brothers. Other than the incredible friendships delt helped me build, I was also taught a great deal through the leadership positions I held. My position as recruitment chair challenged me to become organized, creative, and personable. In the turbulence of getting a new shelter and all of the uncertainty that came with that, I still recruited numerous men that embodied what it means to be a delt. During all of this, I was able to not only continue to participate in outside activities, but excel. I remained an active member in the club volleyball team, I became a much better pianist and was able to pursue a minor in music for my efforts, and I completed a thesis which granted me departmental honors in civil engineering. I attribute a large part of my success at Lafayette to DTD and my brothers who were always there to pick me up and help me through difficult times. Post-grad, I will be continuing my academic career at Virginia Tech where I will pursue a Masters in Civil Engineering with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering.

During my time as Director of Recruitment and Director of Standards, I was proud to help lead the Chapter’s Executive Board alongside some of my best friends in a time of change and uncertainty for Delt. Now that we’ve moved into the new shelter, I am excited to see what the new leadership will accomplish in the near future. My years in Delt were the best years I had at Lafayette. I learned a lot and made lifelong friendships and connections. I will always cherish the memories and fun times I had with my brothers. Post-grad I will be pursuing a career in investing.

Coming to Lafayette as a freshman, I didn’t think I was going to join Greek life at all because I was worried that I wouldn’t fit in anywhere. After some convincing I decided to give it a try my sophomore year, and I am so grateful I did. Ever since I met the Delts, I knew I had found a group of guys that I could call my brothers. I even served in multiple leadership positions during my time in the fraternity, most notably serving as Vice President in 2024. Being in Delt was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I will forever cherish the bonds I formed and the memories I made. After graduation, I am moving to Reading, PA where I will be working as an engineer at Heidelberg Materials in their trainee program.

I will forever describe my time in Delt as a highlight of my undergraduate career. The constant sense of companionship and brotherhood is truly special to me. In the chapter and fraternal community, Delt gave me the chance to get involved in several capacities, including 2023 DEI Chair, IFC Vice President of Public Relations, Fall 2024 New Member Educator, and Spring 2025 Social Media Coordinator. Aside from Delt, some of my most meaningful positions included serving as the Head of Tour Guides for the Ambassadors of Lafayette, committee director for Lafayette Activities Forum, and as an orientation leader. I look forward to participating in the Disney College Program post-graduation and staying involved with Delt through the new Young Alumni Secretary Role.
